Over 11 years ago, Forrest Spa's wild-crafted body butter began not as a business idea, but as a deeply personal mission. When a family member developed an autoimmune disease, many conventional skincare products became impossible to use. Harsh ingredients, synthetic fragrances, and chemical fillers caused more harm than help.

Out of this challenge, our signature body butter was born—crafted with care, intention, and a commitment to using only the purest ingredients. What started as a solution for one person has grown into a philosophy of wellness we now share with every guest.

We believe skincare should be simple, clean, and effective. That’s why our body butter is made with just five food-grade ingredients—nothing more, nothing unnecessary.

Our formula includes ethically sourced, fair trade cocoa butter and premium AAAA+-quality shea butter from Ghana, both known for their deep moisturizing and restorative properties. We blend these with magnesium oil  to support skin health, soothe the body, and promote overall balance.

To enhance the therapeutic benefits of our products, we incorporate high-quality essential oils—many of which are sourced right here in Michigan.

We proudly partner with local farms that grow and distill their oils on-site. This not only ensures freshness and potency, but also allows us to support small farmers and sustainable agriculture in our own community.

They are crafted with beeswax sourced from a family members apple orchard in Mackinaw, Michigan—another reflection of our dedication to local, traceable ingredients and meaningful partnerships.

Our commitment to natural wellness extends beyond skincare into our spa treatments. Our remineralization foot soaks are designed to restore and rebalance the body using only authentic Dead Sea salts.

These salts are harvested by a family who has lived along the Dead Sea for over 100 years, carrying on a tradition rich in history and expertise. The result is a mineral-rich soak that helps detoxify, soothe, and revive tired feet.

A True Michigan Experience: Hot Stone Massage

We believe that where you are matters—and we bring that sense of place into every treatment. Our hot stone massages feature hand-gathered Petoskey stones from Lake Michigan, personally collected over many years.
